Roof turbine vents provide a low-cost ventilation alternative by using the natural force of wind and convection from inside the structure to spin and vent out stale air. They do it with a series of specially shaped vanes that catch the wind and provide rotary motion. This pulls hot and humid from the interiors of the structure without using electricity.
